Gala day

Lazy start to the day - and it was a wet start too. By the time the Gala parade set off it was just a bit drizzly. Conveniently it goes past the end of our road so we had a short walk round to see it. Mainly cheerleaders really but Lottie enjoyed it. This is the Castleford Tigers mascot.

We had lunch, waited for another heavy shower to pass, and then walked up to the park to see what was going on. A horse show, magic show, tombolas and a fair - madam had been allowed £10 and made sure she spent every penny of it! 

Struggled to relax all day which isn't good for a weekend, not helped by watching a rather poor Liverpool performance at teatime.
