Once upon a time...

This is a blip from Hove Park, my favourite park in Brighton. Whether it's free 5k time trials on a Saturday morning, a ride on a miniature railway or use of an outdoor gym, it's got it all.

Recently the council installed this storytelling ring - a seat carved with butterflies and insects and a circle of logs for listeners. I haven't seen a group of children there yet but I can see it would be a brilliant space to hear a story.

However a friend pointed out that the log seats are particularly attractive to dogs, so she was a bit reluctant to try them out!
