Ablaze

Last night, just as I snuggled down in bed, the town siren went off. I gave a passing thought to the probable accident and then dozed off. I came back to life about 20 minutes later when I heard fire engine sirens but then fell back to sleep.
This morning the town was abuzz and ablaze. This building thankfully was empty at the time so no one was hurt. Sadly the man who had just taken over the building for his welding business has already suffered this year so this is yet more bad luck.
The firemen (including one of our staff members were up from 10.30 to 4am putting the blaze out and then were called out again at 5.30am because it has reignited!
The 4Square next door was very lucky not to go too - and a family do live there!
