A different start to the day.
Just heard last week about one of the local girls who is a Tai Chi instructor and is taking Monday morning classes on the tennis court of a holiday property. So joined up with 4 others this morning at 9am and thoroughly enjoyed it. The property is about 3 acres and is a real park with lots of trees in blossom at the moment, and we were right next to a flowering tree in which there would have been 40 tuis at a time flying around and enjoying the sunny morning. A perfect place to relax and try and learn the instructions.
Took my camera (surprise, surprise!) and wandered around the garden afterwards. The primulas are forming a real mat of colour at the moment, so tried a double exposure to try and get the look of the mass of colour. Also a couple of extras including a tui in flight.
Also thanks to Hilarys View for mentioning that she had just ordered some calendars from Vista Print who had a sale on. I rang the NZ company and got a 50% deal from them, so put together one for Tarawera and have order 10. I am having a stall at the Labour Weekend Spring Fair and thought they might be quite fun to have. Thanks to daily blipping I had plenty of Tarawera shots to choose from!
