Silver wedding gift

Had this beautiful patio rose bought for us for our silver wedding anniversary by my sister and her husband. Generally I'm not good with roses! They are always in full health when I receive them, full of flowers. But in no time at all they usually end up diseased. And when it comes to pruning, well, enough said! !
