On the lookout

A local 'tradition' here (or perhaps idiosyncrasy is a better word) is to head down to the ferry pier and watch the ferry arrive and depart. Charlie and Cara have been joining in, helping me count the cars and saying hello to friends. Yesterday there must have been someone new at the helm for he made heavy weather of getting alongside. As you can see from their expressions, the two dogs were fascinated.
