The spring orchids are out!!

In between showers this morning, and in between packing up to return to Perth, I went for an explore on our bush block.  Here are some of the orchids I found in about 30 minutes!!  How exciting!  However, the sad thing is, so much development is occurring in our area, it will probably be not too long until these too will be endangered...................

The orchid above is a spider orchid.  In the extras are donkey orchids, enamel orchids, cowslips and, um, a nice blue one :)
Oh - and a pretty white one :)

I know it's monomonday and I did have a cute pic of Miss E looking "happy" but these orchids are only around for a matter of weeks, so it had to be these!!  These are so Western Australia................
