Freudenstadt
We went to Freudenstadt, which is the biggest town near to us. We walked around, had coffee and cake and bought ceramic beer mugs to use as coffee mugs (don't tell the locals).
All the guide books say that there is nothing interesting to see in Freudenstadt, but we had an interesting day, speaking Afrikaans to Germans who answer us back in French.
Then we went in the opposite direction to get groceries for this evening's and tomorrow's dinners.
While blipping & drinking beer, C is cooking a chicken curry something.
The sun was hot, but the wind was icy cold. By the time we got home the sun disappeared and left only the icy wind to keep us company and force us inside rather than on the balcony looking at the mountains. Still better than being at work in an air conditioned office, breathing stale air & listening to uninformed people talking about their uninteresting little lives.
