Remembering Marco Simoncelli

Went to Coriano today to pay our respects to Marco Simoncelli, a racer with a big personality and bigger hair who we were lucky enough to meet in San Fransisco a few years ago. He was tragically killed in an accident in Malaysia and his home town of Coriano has some touching memorials and an exhibition of his life. There is a foundation set up in his name to make sure his values and ideals live on:

"• his moral integrity in every aspect of the public and private life
• his loyalty and honesty in the sport competition;
• his ideals of fraternity and help toward the weakest;
• the family as cornerstone of the society;
• the respect to every culture and identity."

Ciao Marco.
