Arrivederci Roma
Home time. A much nicer taxi driver this time who didn't speak any English, but took us along the old Roman roads past the Catacombs and managed to chat to us all the way. We recognised enough words to understand. Spotted loads of places to visit next time.
Journey home was painless, left Rome in the rain, and arrived in Edinburgh in the rain (albeit with a 10 degree temperature difference).
I think the girls were pleased to see us - at least we got a big cuddle from the Wee Weegie, the big girls are too cool for cuddles.
First day of Freshers week for No 1. Must have been exhausting, as she had one meeting, followed by lunch, then was in bed by 4pm (although that may have been as a result of her (allegedly) 4 am bedtime last night).
Huge thanks to Gary and Fee for looking after the girls all weekend. They treated them to 4 days of fun days out, and I'm sure they must be totally exhausted (and skint!) now !
