Book Club at the Black Sparrow

Discussed On Chesil Beach by Ian McEwan and Equal Rites by Terry Pratchett this evening. Both books had people that loved and disliked them. Made for an interesting talk. I thought both were just about OK. I don't plan on reading more by either author though.

Next month one of the books chosen is one I proposed, The Girl on the Train. It continues my recent run of successful nominations; 5 times now in the last 7 months.
