Nice lobby in this luxury hotel

Just a visit to a hotel near the imperial palace.

Why?
It's for considering logistics for a VIP adviser from Paris who's coming to Tokyo to meet with our executives (like Chairman, CEO, Representative directors etc) and share his knowledge, profession, expertise to our execution teams in several fields.

Why am I the one doing this?
Simple. Because I can speak English well and was thought to be good enough to sort out several meetings involving various core departments of the company's operation.

How's it going?
Terrible! lol
Generally speaking, my age is too young to do this in a typical Japanese company. Colleagues (I mean senior colleagues here who are managers & general managers) in other departments tend to have low expectations of my job title and will not trust me. That's where all the challenges come from.

The good part is... At least my own general manager trusts me to take care of this important event. Also helps me when I go up to him for assistance.
Also I went to see there senior colleagues in their office to see them face to face and discuss about any issues to sort out (which obviously make communication more effective than phones & emails).

Something I enjoyed today was speaking to my friends inside the company. A great break to be able to speak without polite language (^^)
