Food of the Gods!

I found this dear little fig hidden away in a small pot at the back of garden last year.
 
I replanted it into healthy garden bed and was rewarded with about ½ dozen delicate and delicious pieces of fruit (amazing how things grow with a bit of food, water and sunshine).
 
The left part of the collage shows a fig branch just a couple of weeks ago and the right part of the image was taken today.
 

Although the fruit are still very tiny, it looks healthy with quite a number of new shoots… fingers crossed and bird attack dependent, I may double the number of figs this year!
