Tignanello once saved my day - and possibly more.

I had bought a bottle for my forthcoming 50th birthday. Some years before that, on one grim Sunday I felt like I was fifty already. I remembered "Tigny" and decided to celebrate my half century a bit ahead.

The nose was fabulous and the mouthfeel made me smile. In fact, it felt like the
wine itself was smiling at me! It was impossible to be down anymore and so the
grim Sunday ended up fine.

Barca Velha 1995 is "still a baby" one connaisseur remarked. Maybe have to
save it for my 70th birthday.
