Gary and Me

I don't often have my photo taken, but when Gary Rhodes came out of the kitchen and chatted to the customers, I couldn't resist asking the maitre d' to do the honours! Shame about theflash in the mirror:( But it's still an excellent reminder of another amazing meal out in Dubai.

The decor was out of this world and reminded me of those old 1930s movies where they dine in sumptuous surroundings.

GR was only in Dubai for a couple of days, having flown in that morning. I was impressed that he was clearly working with his staff in the kitchen, not merely supervising and that he regularly visits.
