Smoothie
I booked a physio session for today in the hopes that it could sort my back pain. My upper back is always very tense and knotted so I was hoping that a sports massage or learning certain exercises could help. It turns out that, although the doctor said that my spinal problem was fine to leave and ignore, it has actually caused a few problems. I have scoliosis which is where your spine in curved, and in my case it is curved about 20 degrees. It's not going to get worse and I'd only get it fixed for aesthetic purposes (with a risk of being paralysed from surgery) so it's staying. However, I found out today that the reason for my back pain is, because my back is uneven, muscle is building up on one side and not the other. It's not all bad though - I was taught lots of exercises today and that should hopefully help a lot. I don't need to go back for another session but might do in a couple of months for a follow up. I am very glad I went though - the man I saw was extremely helpful!
I then got home and Emily made me this smoothie. It's brown but thankfully it tastes better than it looks. We both have fresher's flu so are eating huge amounts or fruit whilst we have a film night tonight.
