Les Aiguilles d'Argentière et Chardonnet
.... with the Aiguille de Tour in the middle, from Leysin with a long lens of course. You can see the glaciers are very open these days, not the solid roadways to these peaks that they used to be nearly 40 years ago. Visiting friends today whom I have known from when we all were living in Leysin at that time, was such a pleasure. None of us live there permanently any more, but our hearts are so happy, definitely youthful again, when we are there. Friends that you have shared adventures with, make friendships that last forever.
Thanks to all who have put yesterday's moody mountain on the first popular page, you are so generous.
