butterfly....

....at the butterfly house in the Houston Science Museum. Tom & I took the Metrorail down to the museum district & spent a good share of the day there. It's huge, & there was so much to see, but the butterfly house was my favorite area. After we ate lunch, we walked around the Japanese garden that's across the street--it has fountains, a waterfall, & lovely benches surrounded by flowers--also a huge rose garden, although most of the roses, while still blooming, were just a bit past their prime.  A really fun day! :)
