Late summer (or autumn?) avenue

It's a while since I have blipped the avenue of trees on the Meadows. Are they telling us that it is late summer or early autumn? I'm still out and about in sandals and refusing to wear a coat.

I spent most of the day getting ready for my first day of undergraduate teaching this academic year: Thursday.

Exercise today: almost back to normal with one running loop, sit-ups and weights, and the walk to work (12,946 steps).
