Waking On A Different Continent

My good friend Annie's mother, aged eighty six, died a few days ago in Trinidad and tonight we gathered with Annie in Dublin to mark the occasion while the cremation of her mother, Mama Seeta, happened on the other side of the world. It was a crowded house and I was tasked with recording it all so a record could be sent home by Annie.... A sad occasion festooned with the funny stories re-ignited from the associated past....Drinks were toasted, tea was drunk and cake trust into any hand accidently left hanging......just saying
