Another busy day

Our neighbour has had her first novel published, and I'm grabbing time to read it before attending her book launch on Thursday. It won't win the Booker Prize, and it's not the sort of book I'd normally read, but it's pretty well put together. It centres on the mother and her autistic son whose lives on a dairy farm are changed due to the arrival of a travelling labourer. I've got about 70 pages left to read and I can't tell what will happen at the end, but I only got a C in English Literature O-level!
