First beaded project

I started this project (with luscious, beautiful Malabrigo yarn) on the plane flight to Alaska. I made fantastic progress on the project during the trip, but the pattern calls for tassels at the end of the project and I'm not a huge fan of that. Instead, I am going to do some beading in the last few rows to give it some extra weight. I just can't pick which bead color I should use - green, white, or purple. What do you think?
