Midnight Sun

Caithness: the new Land of the Midnight Sun ?? Driving back from Inverness on Tuesday night I had to stop and take photos of the sunset on the way but I've chosen to blip this one taken at 23.35 on the Causewaymire just 10 mins out of Thurso. It was a joy to drive home under such an impressive sky. I realise that it will be the longest day soon but my longest day was today, I think. It felt more like sunrise than the end of the day and strangely the drive did not tire me out as much as it usually does.
