La Petite Maison

Here we are in France, in the Poitou-Charentes region - 100 miles north of Bordeaux. This is our little home for the week. It is set in the grounds of a much larger house. We are surrounded by orchards and fields of maize. Even in the rain it is beautiful. Looking forward to relaxing and exploring the little villages that surround us. We could just do with the weather perking up a bit!
