Welsh ashplant in Patagonia

Propped up against the tree is my ashplant, made of Welsh ash some years ago by my brother-in-law David and increasingly useful these days as a walking aid. Yesterday I went for a walk with my son and dog along the shoreline of Lake Lolog, near my home in San Martín de los Andes, and stopped for a few minutes to catch our breath.
