If you wanna be the best

Dedication's what you need. If you, like me, were a child of the 80's you'll remember Dangermouse, Sherbert Dib Dabs, Rubiks Cubes, Smash Hits and Roy Castle with the McWhirter brothers on Record Breakers. I loved watching new world records being set. Everything from most sit ups in a minute to playing a tune on the most different musical instruments.
This summer the local library has been running a "record breakers" reading challenge and this morning all of the children that completed the challenge got presented their certificate and medal.
I've never seen the library so busy. So nice to know that there are still plenty of kids reading and using the library. Let's hope ours can stay open where so many have had to close.
