Glossy Ibis in the afternoon light

One of the five Glossy Ibis moved away from the group and wandered into this deep cut sand bank and the light as you can see was gorgeous. This Ibis is even showing off his greeny glossy feathers & of course that incredible beak! Such a timid bird usually I think he knew how good he would look in this warm light and wanted his photograph taken. The other birds kept away and let him have the limelight!
