LE TOUR DE SCOTLAND . . . DAY TWO

Leaving Hexham and heading North to Scotland for my first time across the magnificent Forth Bridge and on towards St Andrews, the Home of Golf. Here is the final hole on the Old Course, with the infamous Swilken Bridge in the fore-ground – get it !

Tonight staying at The Inn At Lathones and the menu begins with a choice of 11 Scottish Gins . . . just the tonic after a full day of travelling.

A special day today as The Queen becomes the longest reigning UK monarch. She celebrated by opening a new railway . . . what a grand idea !
