LE TOUR DE SCOTLAND . . . DAY FOUR

A river and a highlands view today.

Dropped the girls off at the Horse Championships and I headed for the hills, under dark skies, to explore this amazing countryside.

After a long drive I had a reunion visit to the isolated Rannoch Station, twelve miles from the nearest town and a station where the overnight sleeper from London still stops.

I resisted the temptation to visit a whisky distillery . . . only because I was driving.

By eck Scotland very wet and windy today . . . having trouble keeping my kilt under control !
