LE TOUR DE SCOTLAND . . . DAY SEVEN

Final day. Left the Dalmahoy Hotel in Edinburgh and headed for Falkirk – a town of two large surprises.

Shown here are The Kelpies which stand 30 metres tall. They are the largest equine sculptures in the world.

Next to the Falkirk Wheel which is the first rotating boatlift in the world. Designed to lift canal boats from the Forth & Clyde Canal to the Union Canal it is a spectacular sight.
