Time gentlemen, please!

I'm not sure what's going on here.  This local pub is well known for its quirky decorations.

Some years ago it had a big sign on the side saying "Shakespeare probably drank here"  - a tongue-in-cheek reference to all the other establishments around here that have established dubious and tenuous links with The Bard.
