Aira Force

Was lovely having a day in the Lakes without having to think about "can the boys do this" throughout the day.

Started with a lovely breakfast in our room, and a wander through the extensive grounds.

Drove over Kirkstone, to Aira Force (main picture and the landscape extras), and had a nice walk into the fields above the waterfall.

Drover back to Troutbeck, for a lovely Sunday lunch at the Mortal Man.

Then in the evening back into Ambleside for drinks and a lovely Italian.

I did not have my tripod with me on our walk, so was hand holding the long exposures, not great, but not too bad considering :)
