Love The John Rylands Library in Manchester.....built in Gothic style......commissioned for John Rylands by his Wife( 3rd )
She was originally the Nurse to his second wife....who died so then " Nursie" stepped in and became his third wife.....John Rylands himself owned a lot of property in and around the City
he actually never saw his Library....she built it for him after his death
It has an exquisite interior...I always compare it to a mini Cathedral.
