Definitely a better day, even if was on start-stop from 0:40 a.m. The weather has turned hot and dry, after days and days of grey skies and rain, although the hot wind heralds more rain to come. Daughter is calmer, a good friend came for lunch and in addition to enabling us to catch up on everyone’s news, gave HH a series of physio exercises to follow. And I even managed a bit of work. Now the physio has finally come from the Home Care people, after I had a little rant to them over the phone (she was needed immediately he came home from the hospital, not more than two weeks later). It’s the same girl who came to assess him last week, while I was fetching daughter from the airport – she says that if he had been as agile and active last week, she would never have authorised the treatment.
 
And now we’re about to go off to our choir rehearsal. We probably won’t stay long, but it will be lovely to see everyone again, and we’ll be able to pick up the new music. Meanwhile, daughter is off to meet up with some school friends, so hopefully everyone will be happy.
