Pennan
The three of us, H, the HG and me, left today for a week's holiday up on the Moray Firth. We travelled up the east side of the country, and we stopped to visit the little village of Pennan, which was used in the film 'Local Hero' some years ago with Burt Lancaster. My extra is a photo of a heron on the rocks near the harbour.
We duly arrived in Findochty and got settled in, and are looking forward to a great week touring around and enjoying this lovely village and great little fisherman's cottage.
And the weather is wonderful.
