Walked the other half of the Freedom Trail this morning, culminating in all 294 or so steps to the to of the Bunker Hill monument, a needle type monument commemorating perhaps the most famous battle in the War of Independence.

Caught the ferry back across the harbour to downtown where we sat by the water having lunch, then walked back across the Common and on to the Prudential Centre. Unfortunately, we couldn't go up as it was closed for a function.

Just had a reviving pint of Samuel Adams' finest in the hotel bar and have now collapsed for a rest before dinner. Even hotter today than yesterday.

The extra shows another Boston icon, the "Make Way For Ducklings" sculpture in the park.
