One of the few, almost the only, colchicum flower that the slugs did not get to first.  

A helpful meeting this morning .... although nothing concrete came out of it, followed by a wet afternoon spent re-potting bulbs protected from the rain by a couple of large polycarbonate sheets rescued from a skip!
