Fine dining..

We saw the weather wasn't going to be too good so we booked a gourmet degustation meal at Vila Joya.
What an amazing place!
Everything was top notch, from the decor to the staff, to the view.. Everything.
We started off with some little amuse bouche which were all delicious. My favourite involved bone marrow which I never thought I'd like!! I'm a bit squeamish when it comes to things like that but it was very tasty.
The restaurant (it's also a spa), is 2* Michelin and we could see why. All the food was faultless.
We were given a different wine with each course to complement the food. It was a wonderful finish to the holiday.
We looked at the tariff for a night's stay as we left and the cheapest room was £750! Gulp! Maybe just dinner another time if we come back! The beaches along this coast looked amazing so maybe if we come back to the Algarve we'll try west of Albufeira, it looked less shabby and much better kept and more traditional. :-)
