The best I could do...

Today started cool  with leaden skies and by 11am the rain had started.  It was heavy to begin with and gradually became torrential, not stopping until the evening.
I managed to take some items to the charity shop and collect my prescriptions before the heavens opened in earnest, but after that decided to tackle indoor jobs only!
As the rain refused to stop before the light went, the only shots I took today were from the safety of the front room: featured here is a rose called Alan Titchmarsh: it obviously likes the rain, as this year it has grown several feet and its blooms are all but knocking on the window.

Tomorrow we set out as a large family group  for a few days in the Cotswolds, hopefully in better weather conditions
