Lovely summery day again.

Emma had her sports day practice yesterday in the sun and all the parents and children are looking forward to the day itself. But the looking at the weather forecast today, Friday is looking bleak, so it could well be postponed.

Strange business day when some folk think your prices are too high for their pocket and others think the service is fantastic and excellent value. Don;t know which way to turn on that (scratches head!).

Gaby took her very last A-level exam today and hence is now officially at the end of her school-life. Of course timing being what it is, she had to miss a special videoed assembly for her favourite English teacher who has just won the Essex 'best teacher' part of the BBC's teacher of the year award to be shown in October. Who knows, she could make the final? Let's hope so.
