Hurrah! The deluge has ceased! The floods have receded and the sun has come out!! It's great to be out. The arc can go back into the garage for another day The country lanes of Sussex are at their early autumn best. Is it true that when the hedgerows are heavy with mellow fruitfulness, we are going to have a severe winter? Or is it a rural myth? An old wives' tale, told to me by my old wife?
