Cross

I went to Saffron Walden this morning to have my nails done as I am unable to go tomorrow with my daughter due to a hospital appointment. I visited the new Waitrose, which did not seem very different to the old one. The gluten-free section was quite small, no comparison to the selection in Sainsbury’s or Ocado.
 
Today’s picture is one of the Viola flowers that I planted yesterday; it looks quite cross.
 
Forty-five years ago today I passed my driving test at the first attempt.
