A very full day

The morning began with a visit to Comeston Lakes nature reserve where we watched the model boats sailing between the swans, ducks, coots and gulls and the dragonflies flitting among the reeds.  The dark threatening clouds (extra) passed over as we enjoyed lunch.  Along with dozens of schoolchildren and their teachers, we visited the Medieval village.  This village was built on a site excavated during the 1990s and the houses reconstructed in appropriate materials and styles.  Returning to the caravan site we detoured to Cardiff Bay where we admired the amazing modern architecture of the Millennium Centre (extra)  and, of course,  the National Assembly of Wales and all the surrounding buildings.
What a day!
Having to move on tomorrow to make room for the Rugby fans arriving.  Thank you for all your very kind comments on yesterday "going over".
