Sandsend seasiders

The English at the seaside are so very English about it, particularly in a small, quiet village like Sandsend, north of Whitby. It's just cottages, a main road, the sea, and a few small cafes. The whole scene reminded me of the setting for that classic French film, Mr Hulot's Holiday.
Nevertheless, I really enjoyed a stroll in the sunshine, the low key 'nothingness' of the place was very relaxing.
