Day 971 - Three Lochs Forest Drive

Another lovely day out - Dale and I went for a walk up Lendrick Hill in Glen Finglas.  I would have liked to have gone further than we did but after two days of walking already this bleedin' knee is bleedin' sore!  Not so much on the way up but coming down is a killer...

We then went for a wee drive down Three Lochs Forest Drive.  We stopped at the top to let Dale take a pano on her phone and I spotted this shield bug feeding on caterpillar juices!  I thought they were veggie but turns out they can turn and feed on small insects/animals!

The other half of the caterpillar was two steps up so I can only assume it was stepped on...
