Would You Eat This?

I passed an old man selling okra off the back of his truck.  I bought a small amount, and we'll have them with dinner.  We normally cut them into small sections (after removing the tips and tops), lightly batter them, and fry them.  My favorite way of eating okra is the way my mother made them. When she cooked a pot of butter beans (Lima beans to some people), she would put many pieces of okra in the pot to boil with the beans. We would remove the tops on our plates.  Some folks think they are too slippery when cooked that way, but it's my favorite way.
