Dark blue lining

Our poor not so old VW failed its MOT (it's an annual British vehicle safety and road worthiness check that every car has to pass to stay on the road) thanks to a previously badly fixed exhaust.

Grrr.

Cons: three figure invoice from the garage (and not starting with one), three days without the VW, lots of annoyance at the whole MOT system and garages that do what they want and no one's responsible for badly done jobs.

Pros: This shiny new rental that I kind of don't want to give back...
