Episyrphus balteatus ホソヒラタアブ(?)

Rain. Thought it is was going to be a snail today. Luckily this hoverfly saved the day.

I have a few creatures in reserve for rainy days, days when I'm too busy to blip or for when I can't find anything new. These would be, in no particular order:

Woodlouse
Ant
Earwig
Snail
Slug
Crow
Egret
Kite
Orb Spider
Stork
Ladybird
My family. I get to use humans once ;-)

Some of these I really can't wait to photograph, but they are all common enough that I feel I should hold them in reserve.
