Not a Whale of a time!

Well, the plan today, was to go “whale watching”… it didn’t bode well, when the captain said, the seas were extremely choppy over 4 metres and the chance of seeing a whale was slim and then gave us the option to pull out….
 
We didn’t and joined a number of overseas tourists for a buoyant and bumpy 3 hours, searching for an illusive whale sighting, to no avail.   The choppy conditions caused many screams and lots of ummmms and aaahhhs and sadly a high percentage of seasickness. 
 
If you were one of the lucky ones (which I was) it was quite exhilarating.  
Anyway,  on our journey home we decided to have dinner at one of Sydney’s waterfront restaurants and this was the view from our table……not too shabby!   I look forward to another whale of a time in the future!
