Freo

Nothing like a trip to "Freo" as the locals call it!!  Fremantle is the major port in Western Australia and is only just over 12kilometres from the central business area of Perth.

I have always loved going down there, it's always a hive of activity and there's a buzz like no other place in Perth, in my humble opinion.

I remember when we were littlies, Mum and Dad would often drive down to "Freo" on a Sunday and we would go the Fish Co-op for fish and chips.  We'd sit by the water and eat them.  It's all changed so much since then, but not the memories and the feelings that it brings back for me.

This is a wonderful sculpture of a cray fisherman.  We caught it at last light this afternoon.
